Most self-built houses on the first floor are backfilled with soil. The depth of backfill and whether it is compacted after backfilling are the most original factors for floor cracking.
How to solve: The backfill depth is too deep, backfill in layers, and compact each layer. The concrete thickness can be slightly thickened by 2 cm near the zero elevation. If conditions permit, steel bars can be added to strengthen crack resistance.
Make 3-5 cm thick C30 fine stone finished concrete on the original structural floor (if there is no concrete, it can be self-mixed on site, and the cement strength must be sufficient), brush the interface agent at the bottom, and make 1 cm anti-cracking mortar if conditions permit. Make a layer of steel mesh in the middle. These measures are to prevent surface cracking.
Reserve expansion joints at the internal corners and the conversion space of the door. For large bays, leave joints in the middle at appropriate positions (some clever choices can be made according to the position of the interior design furniture).
About the maintenance and polishing of terrazzo floor
After the concrete is poured, it is necessary to cover the film for maintenance and water it every day. It can only be ground by machine after 20-30 days of maintenance.
After taking the above measures, the possibility of cracking is greatly reduced, but it cannot be absolute. Cracking is also a relatively normal common problem.
Clossiness and corner details
If there are conditions to use 380v power, the power of the machine is large enough, the efficiency is relatively high, the grinding disc should be used enough times, and the finish is naturally not bad.
If conditions permit, wet grinding (dry grinding is also possible) can be used for large areas, and wet grinding is used for corners. In this way, the effect of the large surface and the effect of the corners are more uniform, of course, it is relatively labor-intensive.
When pouring concrete, it is necessary to compact it with tools, wait for the concrete to be initially set and polished, so as to reduce small cracks and small hemp on the surface.
Flatness
When making concrete, it is necessary to shoot, punch reinforcement, and control the horizontal line of the inner corner.
Punching reinforcement shooting must be completed 1-3 days before pouring concrete, and the target point must be strong.
